We have an opportunity for a qualified Gas Service Engineer to join us within our busy District Heating team.

If you are self-motivated, time served and capable of working alone as well as part of a multi-skilled team this is an opportunity for you to commence a career within a Council you can be proud to work for.

You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of tacks including working on domestic and commercial systems within District Heating, domestic dwellings and residential homes.

Reporting to a Repairs & Construction Manager you will be expected to work on Domestic & Commercial Gas Systems, Hot and Cold Water Systems, Pumps Sets and Servicing within Commercial Plantrooms, including Maintenance to the Byker District Heating System which operates at medium pressure/temperature, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, practices, and standards.
