We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to join our Local Services team in delivering a high-quality street cleansing service. The work is varied, working outdoors, carrying out responsive and programmed cleansing work, such as manual or mechanised street cleaning, removal of graffiti and fly tipping, emptying litter bins and other similar types of environmental work.

The post is based at our Leazes Lane depot which operates 7 days a week. Flexibility is essential.

The current shift hours are:

Week 1

Sunday to Thursday 06.00am to 17.05 pm

Week 2

Sunday to Wednesday 06.00am to 17.05pm
