What will I be doing?

You will have traffic management & road safety responsibility for a particular area within the city. The successful applicant will assist in the delivery of Local Transport Plan schemes involving traffic management, road safety and school travel plans.

What will I need?

The successful individual will have previous practical experience in planning, consulting on and introducing Traffic Management schemes and be familiar with highways legislation, standards, regulations, and codes of practice, as well as excellent communication skills and a positive approach to working with elected members, members of the public, contractors, business owners and community groups.
