Educational Psychology Service: Educational Psychologist

Newcastle Educational Psychology Service is seeking to appoint to a 1.0 FTE permanent Educational Psychologist post.

You will join a well regarded and expanding team, currently consisting of 14.6 FTE EPs. The service is highly valued by schools and settings and has a very high level of requests for traded work. The Service is also funded to provide a level of core activities aimed at supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, including children in care, those from International New Arrival families and those involved with the Youth Justice Service. All Educational Psychologists in the team, work at both a statutory level and at preventative and early intervention levels and have the opportunity to develop specialisms and areas of interest. The Service has good links with Newcastle University and currently hosts a Year 2 doctoral trainee.

Applications are welcome from colleagues wishing to work either full time or part time. In addition, applications are welcomed both from fully qualified colleagues and doctoral trainee Educational Psychologists who are due to finish their training course in the summer 2022.
