Fixed term until 31 October 2020
An opportunity has arisen for two posts to work as part of the Early Years Sector Support team until 31 March 2020.
You will need knowledge of the early years and childcare sector.
The posts fit within the wider work of the team, delivering on the Local Authority’s duty to secure and report on childcare sufficiency, to secure information and advice for childcare providers, and to manage funded early years and childcare places.
We are committed to delivering a high quality service so you will need excellent communication skills and knowledge of safeguarding procedures. You will need to be resourceful, with the ability to establish relationships and work independently while working as part of a team towards agreed aims and objectives.
If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have any unspent criminal convictions.
