£34,373 - £38,553 per annum

Fixed Term until 30 March 2024 (potential to extend beyond this date)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Project Officer to oversee pilot projects based in communities, which aims are to consult and engage with communities and develop bespoke interventions to increase community belonging and resilience resulting in reduced crime and anti-social behaviour.

The role will heavily involve working with partner agencies to identify and manage strategies to understand community issues as well as overseeing the development and implementation of interventions.

You should have a good understanding of the types of issues that affect communities as well as a sound knowledge of crime and anti-social behaviour and techniques to tackle issues.

Project management, communication and interpersonal skills essential for this role as well as the proven ability to deliver services.

Ideally the candidate will have significant experience of dealing with community safety issues and partnership working. You should be competent in using IT systems to record the project implementation and management.

A full, current driving licence is desirable and it is essential that you have a willingness to work out-of-hours work.
