Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums are seeking two creative marketing and PR professionals to work within our busy and productive Communications team. A qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, media or equivalent experience is essential.

You must be able to write, edit and proof copy, work to tight deadlines and budgets and work on your own initiative. You must also be familiar with digital marketing including social media, using website content management systems and e-communications.

You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and PR to promote TWAM's venues which include Discovery Museum, the Laing Art Gallery, the Great North Museum: Hancock and Segedunum Roman Fort. This will involve developing communication plans for the venues and will include working with the media, online promotion, print and event organisation.
