Would you like to join a successful team cleaning and maintaining schools and public buildings to a very high standard?
We have a number of permanent contracts for cleaner’s which will require the successful candidates to work in schools and public buildings city wide.
Times of work are variable on a Monday to Friday basis between the hours of 6am and 7.30pm. You must be flexible with your approach to working times, some weekend work may be required. You must be prepared to travel to various locations within the City of Newcastle on a daily basis. Travel expenses within your working times will be paid on a monthly basis as an addition to your salary.
Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be given, you will also be provided with all equipment required for these posts, including a uniform.
We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s). It is a criminal offence for a barred individual to apply for a job in regulated activity.
