The Governors of Archbishop Runcie Church of England VA First School wish to appoint a part time cleaner, initially fixed-term, from 19th April 2021 - 8th April 2022.

We are a welcoming Church of England school with happy, well behaved and highly motivated children and a dynamic, passionate and hardworking staff team. We have high expectations of ourselves and the children. Parents are highly supportive of the school.

We wish to fill our Cleaner vacancy to carry out general cleaning of all areas of school such as classrooms, corridors, offices and toilets, as directed. The working hours are 3:30 - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.

We are looking for meticulous team member who will go the extra mile for the benefit of the school community. The successful candidate will work alongside and under the direction of the Site Manager.

The successful candidate will model high standards for themselves, the school and others. They will have a positive outlook and will be excited at the prospect of being part of our team.

We are aiming to appoint the right candidate to start in post on Monday 19th April 2021 (or as soon as possible after this date).

The role is 10 hours a week. Annual leave to be taken only during school closure periods with the agreement of the Headteacher. During the school holidays, rather than working 2 hours per day, the successful candidate may work the equivalent weekly hours across two days rather than 5.
