Facility Services and Civic Management

Opportunities exist for suitable individuals to work within the Facility Services Division as a Chef at locations across the City.

• Broadwood Primary - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 4 days

• Waverley Primary - 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 4 days

Typical duties within this post will be to provide a high-quality catering service to the school by organising, preparing, and serving meals in accordance with the School Food Standards and the City Council Customer Service Charter, to liaise as appropriate with school staff and pupils.

There is a responsibility to organise the kitchen, supervise staff and resources on a day-to-day basis. To ensure the preparation and serving of the designated daily menu is in accordance with appropriate standards and procedures.

It is essential that you are capable of good relationships with others and able to work as part of a team. Experience within a catering environment and delivering a consistent high-quality product is essential.
