An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Graduate Surveyors to work in Newcastle City Council’s Property team.

The Council is currently undertaking a major review of its land and property assets with the aim of driving efficiencies and maximising income from its portfolio in addition to identifying disposal, investment and development opportunities. The Council’s property assets are a key driver to assist economic growth in the city and support the Council’s ambitious objectives. The successful applicant will undertake a wide range of duties required to support statutory functions and internal/external clients.

Applicants will have a degree or equivalent qualification accredited by the RICS or will be final year degree students approaching RICS accredited degree award.

Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, along with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges. Candidates will be enthusiastic and in turn will be supported through their APC in a multidisciplinary environment.
