We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Planner with a proven track record in development management. The successful applicant will be an integral member of the senior team informing the future of Newcastle and helping our City thrive as the regional capital of the North East.

You will be a qualified Planner (MRTPI) with recent Local Government experience and a successful track record working with Elected Members and senior officers in developing a vision of a vibrant city.

We are looking for a candidate who is an innovative thinker with strong strategic leadership skills. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners.

You should also have significant experience in establishing and sustaining strategic relationships. If you thrive in working in a fast-paced dynamic organisation, with the ability to lead and influence at the most senior level, we would love to hear from you.
