£18,198 per annum, pro rata (actual £6,556)*

This is a Foundation School which is part of a Trust; the employer will be the Governing Body of the School. West Jesmond Primary School - Ouseburn Trust Tankerville Terrace Jesmond Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 3AJ. 16 hours per week, (Mon 2pm - 6pm Tues - Fri 3pm - 6pm) term time only. West Jesmond is a large, very successful and happy school, in the heart of a vibrant and diverse community. The Head teacher and governing body are looking to appoint the very best staff to join our team who will make a real positive contribution to the education of our fantastic children. The school is seeking to appoint an after school club assistant to work in our very successful and highly popular After School Club. The role is primarily to assist in the supervision and welfare of children who attend the after school club. This involves supporting children in their development and assisting with the organisation, setting out and clearing away of resources to create a purposeful and attractive learning environment and supporting the After School Club Leader. There are also opportunities for additional hours in our school including being part of lunchtime team. Please say when applying if you would be interested in discussing these roles.
