Newcastle Energy Switch

Newcastle Energy Switch

Current advice

Please note that due to recent increases in the energy price cap now is not a good time to be switching energy supplier, as most deals are likely to be more expensive than the one you currently have. Check if the energy price cap affects you.

Switching your energy supplier

Ofgem, the UK energy regulator, estimates that 35% of households have never switched supplier.

Ordinarily this could mean that they are missing out on average savings of £300/year - However, at this time that may not be the case.

If you do want to see if you could save money then please try our price comparison and switching tool.

You will need details of your current deal and the amount of energy that you use before you start. You will be able to find this information on your annual statement or bill.

If you prefer to talk you can phone 0800 188 4926.

It pays to shop around, but if you don't want to switch then you can still check if you can get a cheaper deal with your current supplier.

Warm Home Discount

If you have already signed up for the broader group of the Warm Home Discount scheme with your current supplier, then if you switch you would need to re-apply with your new supplier.

The discount for scheme year 2021/22 should be paid by the end of March 2022.
