Access
Our offices are located in the Newcastle City Council Arches Reception and can be accessed via Ceremonial Way or the Quadrangle. Both entrances are accessible.
For ceremonies, the Leazes Room and Register Office are located on the 2nd floor of the Civic Centre, and access should be via the Grand Entrance (red staircase). This is located under the Council Chamber (the round building at the side of the Civic Centre). The doors to the Grand Entrance will be open 30 mins before your ceremony is due to start and a member of staff will be there to meet you and to let the Registrar know that you have arrived.
Members of your party should remain in the waiting room until the Registrar arrives.
There is disabled access to The Leazes Room from the Grand Entrance however the lift is small so any guests using motorised mobility aids should use the larger lift at the main entrance which is accessed via the car park or Civic Centre main entrance.
