Renewing your Vows

If you have had a legally recognised marriage or civil partnership you can renew your vows in a civil ceremony. This ceremony is for any couple who are married or in a civil partnership who want to re-affirm their commitment to each other.

It may be associated with a special anniversary, or for a couple whose ceremony took place abroad and who wish to celebrate with family and friends who could not attend the original ceremony. A renewal of vows ceremony is non-religious and has no legal standing.

The cost of a renewal ceremony depends upon the day of the week and the venue you choose. Details can be found on our fees page. Contact the Register Office to book your ceremony.
