Jesmond Vale Parking Survey Results and Proposed Traffic Management Scheme
We have now completed our review for the request to introduce a Permit Parking in Jesmond Vale to address commuter parking.
Parking surveys were undertaken in November 2017 to determine the levels of parking.
The surveys were carried out at 7am, 12 noon and 7pm, over a period of 1 day as part of the set criteria.
The results of survey show that they do not meet the set criteria, which is that 85% or more of the available kerbside parking space must be occupied on the majority of streets.
A plan is attached showing the level of parking on each street. You can view the plan here.
Also shown is a proposed traffic management scheme to address some of the issues raised by residents in the area. Comments are invited to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com by Monday 9 July 2018. You can view the plan here.
