Hodgkin Park is in two parts, separated by Armstrong Road. The north part is smaller and feels quieter whereas the southern part is more open.

The south park was refurbished in 2012/13 to include a new children’s play area, performance area, multi-use games area and water features.

The park has a large children’s play area, multi-use games area and a natural Dene with a number of water features and ponds.

Toilets

There are no public toilets within the park.

Accessibility

The most accessible part of the park is located at the entrance off South Benwell Road. However; as the park is located on a steep embankment it may be difficult to get around for wheelchair users.

Car

Parking available on South Benwell Road.
