Wednesday: 10am - 2pm
Thursday: 10am - 12.30pm (closed for lunch) then 1pm - 4.30pm
Friday: 1pm - 4.30pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm
Sunday: Closed

About Fenham Library

The library is no longer under threat of permanent closure and is open again.

We now share the building with Your Homes Newcastle. This partnership has made it possible to maintain a library service in Fenham and means the library is no longer under threat of closure.

The library offers the very best in services. You can borrow books, DVDs and have free access to information, newspapers, magazines, computers and serve yourself at our self-service terminals.


Book a toy

Is a free loan services for parents, carers and their children under eight years. This service has been developed by the Newcastle Toy Library Forum in partnership with Parklands/Gosforth Sure Start North Children's Centre and Newcastle Libraries.

Health and wellbeing

Dedicated book collections are available to those with mild to moderate mental health problems including stress, anxiety, phobias and self-esteem. As well as a wide range of books which include titles recommended by health professionals, there is useful website information and leaflets. For more information visit health and wellbeing.
