From May 29 2018 the music CD service will be withdrawn completely from all libraries.
In addition to this, the DVD service will operate from City Library only. (withdrawn from Outer West, Gosforth, West End, Fenham and East End Libraries)
This is due to falling loans and income in both areas over recent years, and as a self-financing service this has become unsustainable in its current form.
DVDs can be reserved from any of our libraries or online for a 50p charge.
Denton Burn Library update
Denton Burn Library reopened on Monday 28 April 2015. The new layout includes 2 new teaching rooms and an accessible public toilet. There is also a new children's area and new public computers. These changes will allow us to share the building with other organisations.
