What is the Skills Hub?
The Skills Hub offers a one-stop shop for support with training, career and job advice.
Based on the ground floor of Newcastle City Library, anyone can access this free service for help in getting into employment and training, and support to develop the necessary skills.
What does the Skills Hub offer?
Bringing together a range of partners with a breadth of experience, the Skills Hub has experts on hand to provide support and guidance where it’s needed. A programme of free events is available, providing workshops and practical advice, delivered by partners as well as local employers.
Who is involved with the Skills Hub?
The partnership includes Connexions, National Careers Service, Newcastle Futures, Generation NE, Newcastle College and Newcastle City Learning, with the Skills Hub providing an efficient and streamlined service to customers in a single location.
What are the opening hours?
The Skills Hub is open from Monday to Friday from 10am - 5pm.
