Get free and friendly expert advice, from people who know what works.

Stopping smoking is the one single thing you can do to dramatically increase your chances of living a longer life.

Seeing a local CGL stop smoking adviser is free and will massively boost your chances of quitting. You can work with a trained adviser alone or in a group. Your adviser will give you advice about Nicotine Replacement therapy and other stop smoking aids available on prescription.

The Newcastle Stop Smoking Service is available in many pharmacies, some GP practices and other familiar places in the city such as the Grainger Market and some community centres.

People who stop smoking with the help of NHS stop smoking services are four times more likely to be successful and to remain quit after a year.
