Newburn Activity Centre

Newburn Activity Centre provide traditional and adventurous leisure activities for all ages and abilities. They offer a wide range of activities including mountain biking, canoeing, abseiling, rock climbing, windsurfing, camping expeditions and much more. Hawkhirst Scout Activity Centre

Hawkhirst, owned and run by The Scout Association, offers day and residential outdoor experiences for schools and other groups. Set in 70 acres in Kielder Forest on the edge of Kielder Water, the location provides views of the countryside and a feeling of wilderness. The lodges offer accommodation for groups on centre.

Hawkhirst users can choose from more than 20 activities, both land and water based. They are therefore able to offer educational experiences for all age ranges. Their staff can work with you to deliver an experience that will give your group key life skills with an activity programme that meets needs and objectives.

Hawkhirst runs programmes for community groups, adults, teacher training, team building and youth groups.
