Youthinc is a free service that supports children and young people, aged 8-13 who are at risk of getting involved in anti-social behaviour or criminal activity.

 

For young people

Do you get bored and sometimes look for more exciting things to do, which may get you into trouble?

Would you benefit from getting involved with Youthinc?

  • are you aged between 8 and 17 years?
  • do you get into a lot of trouble?
  • do you have an older brother or sister who has been in trouble with the police and you are worried that you may be going the same way?
  • do you get into a lot of trouble at school?
  • have ever been excluded from school?
  • do you live in an area where there is a lot of crime?
  • do you live in an area where young people can easily get drugs and alcohol?
  • do you have any problems making friends?
  • are you worried that you may be getting involved in crime and anti-social behaviour and that it may get you into trouble in the future

 

For parents and carers

Is your 8-17 year old displaying difficult behaviour?

Would you like some extra support to help deal with this?

The Youthinc. project aims to work with children and their parents/carers to offer positive and constructive activities and relevant information to encourage the children to avoid offending behaviour in the future.

An Individual Support Package will be designed, suitable for the young person and their family. This may include some of the following;

  • are you unhappy with people your child is hanging round with? 
  • do you suspect that your child is becoming involved in petty crime
    and anti-social behaviour?
  • most importantly... Do you and your child WANT support?
