£250 to £750 funding available for ‘good ideas’ (delivered in partnership by Newcastle City Council’s Communities Team and Your Homes Newcastle).
Applications are being invited for a final round of 4 p’s funding. Do you have a ‘good idea’? Maybe with friends or neighbours that involves bringing new people together and also makes your community a better place to live? Anyone can apply.
Your project needs to be open to new people and include or benefit YHN tenants and meet the themes below:
- A Safer Newcastle – Projects that help tackle crime, anti social behaviour or the fear of crime.
- Health & Wellbeing – Projects that have a positive impact on improving the health of people who live in your neighbourhood.
- Skills & Employment – Projects that have a positive impact on the environment where you live. Think about recycle, reuse & reduce and active citizenship.
- Children & Young People – Create new opportunities for children and young people who are harder to reach to help reduce isolation and increase participation.
Deadline for applications 29 September 2017. Projects must spend the funding by 31 March 2018.
Here's what we did with £500 'Four P's' money from the city council. They're asking for applications now. https://www.newcastle.gov.uk/communities-and-neighbourhoods/grants-and-f...
