The Business & IP Centre Newcastle is a free service designed to support entrepreneurs, inventors and small businesses from that first spark of inspiration to successfully launching and developing a business.
Located on level 3 of Newcastle City Library, the Centre is a partnership between Newcastle City Council and the British Library.
At the Centre you can learn the skills to start and grow your business, research your market, learn how to protect your ideas (intellectual property) and make money from them, gain confidence and inspiration and meet fellow entrepreneurs. We have an extensive collection of business and intellectual property information with expert staff on hand to guide you to the resources you need, including free access to electronic resources.
Using our market research databases, company information, industry guides, patent information and more, we can help you target customers, keep track of your competitors and find opportunities in the market.
The Business & IP Centre Newcastle is staffed during office hours, Monday to Friday. If you require any specific assistance with your business enquiry please contact the City Library business team on 0191 2774100 or E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
