Tyne Bridge Publishing is the book publishing imprint of Newcastle Libraries and Information Service. Since 1984 we have been producing books which draw on the local knowledge and extensive archival and photographic material preserved in Newcastle City Library's Local Studies Collection. Our list of titles has grown and broadened to include publications covering many aspects of the North East, both past and present. Newcastle Gateshead Quayside Guide

Our policy as publishers is to encourage local writers and to tap enthusiasm for local history. Our books are aimed at everybody with an interest in exploring aspects of Tyneside - its people, places, and history - in greater detail.
