Paying the Planning Fee

There is a flat rate service charge of £64 inc. VAT for submitting online planning applications that attract a fee of £60 or more.

 

To Pay Online:

You can pay electronically by using our online payment system:

 

 

If you do not have a reference, please put in the site address as a reference and also type any other relevant details in the "location" field.

 

Other Ways to Pay:

1) If you would like to phone us to make a payment, phone 0191 278 7878 and ask for 'Payments'.

Our lines are open 8am to 6pm from Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30pm on Friday.

You will need:

  • Your credit* or debit card.
  • Your reference number. (If you do not have a reference, please put in the site address as a reference)

The cardholder must be present during the transaction.

*We do not accept American Express, JCB or Diners Club cards.

 

2) If you are unable to make a card payment, and require a BACS transfer,  this will take longer for your application to be accepted.  

  • For BACS payments, our payment details are: Lloyds Bank, Account Name: Newcastle City Council Account, Sort Code: 30-93-71, Account: 63352060
