The fare for a single journey of any distance on an individual route, Q1 or Q2 is 70p (35p concessions). If your journey requires you to interchange betwen the routes, for example travelling from Central Station to the Law Courts or Haymarket to Sage Gateshead, then you will need to purchase a £1 Hour Rider Ticket which allows passengers unrestricted access on both routes for one hour. Passengers using this ticket will need to ensure that they begin the final leg of their journey within one hour of purchase.
