Tyne and Wear Survey of Commercial and Industrial Waste, Hazardous and Agricultural Management/ Processing Facilities in Newcastle upon Tyne

In June 2010 the Council contacted commercial waste operators within the city with an invitation to take part in a survey. The survey was designed to gather information relating to the processing of commercial and industrial waste in Tyne and Wear. The survey intended to inform the Local Development Framework Core Strategies currently being prepared and to facilitate dialogue between waste processing businesses and Tyne and Wear Councils.

The results of the survey are now available (see link below to download draft report, hard copies are available upon request). We would be interested in any comments you may wish to make concerning the survey and in addition if you were unable to respond in the first instance we would be happy to received further completed questionnaires to supplement current findings. A copy of the questionnaire is available below.

Comments on the report or filled in questionnaires can be returned either by post to the address below or completed online (http://onecorestrategyng-consult.limehouse.co.uk/portal)  by 11 March 2011.
