Newcastle Parking Services are pleased to be involved in the Alive after Five programme, which supports the evening economy in the city centre. From 25th October 2010, parking in the multi-storey car parks at Dean Street; Eldon Garden; Eldon Square; Fenkle Street (not operated by Newcastle City Council or included in Alive after Five after 29 December 2011); Grainger Town; Manors; Oxford and the Quayside Monday - Saturday is free between the hours of 5pm and 8am the following morning.  Please check whether the bay has any restrictions (e.g. disabled blue badge holders only or permit holders for designated hours).

Parking will also be free in the participating car parks from 6pm on Sundays through until 8am on Monday morning.

This provides 2,000 free parking spaces for motorists wishing to visit the city centre and its many attractions in the evening.
