Newcastle Parking Services is committed to improving the quality of service to customers. One initiative has been the introduction of a convenient, cash-free method of paying for your parking session.
Motorists are able to register online to be able to pay for their parking from their mobile phone. Alternatively, you can register via your mobile phone at the car park and then pay for your first session.
The service now operates across all city centre car parks operated by Newcastle City Council in Newcastle.
The Pay by Phone mobile web site, www.paybyphone.co.uk has now been launched allowing customers to quickly and easily access and manage their Pay by Phone account and pay for parking sessions. A helpful user guide is available at www.paybyphone.co.uk.
PayByPhone has launched its own YouTube page, containing nine very useful short videos which show customers how to register and pay for parking, download the PayByPhone apps and obtain VAT receipts. Visit www.youtube.com/PayByPhoneUK for help on how to pay to park by phone.
The new initiative provides more flexibility and customer choice to pay for parking.
The system, provided by Pay by Phone, offers motorists an additional alternative means of payment to the existing pay and display machines and accepts all major payment cards. Clear information on how the system works is displayed via new vibrant signs within the participating car parks.
