This year’s Newcastle Pride event will now be taking place at Exhibition Park instead of Leazes Park.
The annual event which is happening on Saturday, 21 July, will start with a parade which will leave the Civic Centre at 12 noon and will be arriving at the new venue at around 1pm.
There’ll be lots of entertainment including music, comedy and information stalls.
Drivers who are planning to visit the city during the parade should allow for more times as it will be taking in John Dobson Street, Northumberland Road, Northumberland Street, Blackett Street, Percy Street, and Claremont Road.
