2012 looks like an exciting year with Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee and Newcastle’s participation in the Olympics.
In the pipe line are the allotment show, Pride festival, Race for life, Model boat club events, croquet competitions, miniature steam trains, the Green Festival, the Mela Festival as well as activities from the Jesmond Dene rangers and introductions to Olympic sports at a series of local festivals.
