High Heaton Library has state of the art technology, new books, DVDs, and new public access computers. It is also fully self service, allowing you to issue and return your own books and DVDs. As well as borrowing from a wide range of new books, you can relax, browse newspapers and magazines, and meet friends. The children’s area has a bright fun look and is partitioned from the adult area by a glass screen upon which local artist Kathryn Hodgkinson has etched designs inspired by the memorial trees in the Spinney. There really is something for everyone.
