The Council is in the process of implementing a new pay and grading structure under the national Single Status agreement. The salary for jobs earning a basic between £15,470 and £46,479 is subject to that review and may therefore change in the next 12 to 18 months.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced school bursar to work alongside the Head Teacher and administrative officer. Duties would include organising, maintaining and monitoring the schools financial, human resource, ICT, estate management, and health and safety systems to ensure an effective service to the school. You will be expected to be able to manage your own workload and be highly committed and motivated in your work. Accountancy and school business management qualifications or experience are essential. The post holder would be an active member of the school’s leadership team.

The school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the CRB and a range of other recruitment checks.
