Required from January 1st 2010, or earlier if possible. Thomas Walling Primary School is amongst the top performing Primary Schools in the country, based on our improving results from 2005 – 2008 (letter from Jim Knight, MP, April 2009). Following the retirement of our current Deputy Head, the Governors and children are looking for a friendly, committed and enthusiastic Deputy Head to join our supportive team. You will join our recently appointed Head Teacher in shaping the school for the future. In order to join our team you will need to :- • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner. • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour. • Be able to inspire and motivate colleagues and pupils. • Be committed to raising standards. • Have excellent communication skills. • Have proven management and leadership skills. Interviews will take place early in Autumn term.
