Bin collections change on Monday
From 19 May bin collection days are changing. If you have a wheelie bin you should have had a leaflet through your door with information about your new collection day. If you have not received your leaflet or have any queries, email: binhotline@newcastle.gov.uk or phone the Bin Hotline on 0191 278 3022 or 0191 278 3023, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-6pm.

Consultation on funding for Primary School Buildings
The Government has asked the Council to let it know how it would spend new money on primary school buildings. If it is satisfied we could get over £10million every two years to spend on primary school buildings in addition to money given directly to schools. Have your say.
World Environment Day
The United Nations World Environment Day takes place every year on 5 June. To celebrate this day, Newcastle City Council will be organising its third the World Environment Day exhibition in partnership with the Environment Agency.
