Recycling Centres

There are three recycling centres in Newcastle situated at Brunswick, Byker and Walbottle. The recycling centres accept a large variety of materials for recycling and have disposal points for materials that can't be recycled. Go to the Recycling Centres page for more information on locations, opening times and what materials are accepted.

Recycling Points

Recycling points are situated in convenient locations across the city such as supermarket car parks; meaning you don't have to make a special trip to recycle. At the recycling points you will find a number of recycling containers accepting a variety of common recyclable materials such as glass and newspapers. Visit the Recycling Points page for more information on their locations and what they accept.

Finding your nearest Recycling Point or Centre

You can find your nearest recycling point or centre by simply typing your postcode into Recycle More's recycling point finder

Street Recycling Bins

In addition to the above recycling points we have sited Street Recycling Points across the city centre, in areas of heavy footfall, so you can 'recycle on the move'. For more information go to the On-Street Recycling Points page.
