We operate a weekly wheeled bin collection service to every residential property in the City. Bins are emptied on the same day each week except on bank holidays when changes to collection days are advertised in the press and on this website.
On your collection day you should wheel your bin to the edge of your property or in your back lane near your gate/door before 6.30am. Bins should be brought in as soon as possible after emptying. The bin lid should be fully closed. No additional rubbish placed alongside the bin will be taken.
June and Diamond Jubilee Bank Holidays
There will be no collection on Monday 4 June, all collections will be one day later. Normal collections start from Monday 11 June.
