The Energy Centre has been established since the 1980s, providing energy management and advice services to the Council, Your Homes Newcastle and to Newcastle's residents.

The Energy Centre is part of the Sustainability Unit within the Environment and Regeneration Directorate.

The Newcastle Warm Zone (NWZ), is a dynamic public-private partnership set up to tackle fuel poverty and improve energy efficiency across the City.
