The Newcastle Children’s Vision team supports the educational needs of children from birth to 19 years who have a significant visual impairment.
We are a team of qualified teachers, skilled teaching assistants, mobility and technical support officers. Advice, information and assessment can be provided to home and school. Support is also available to children in play groups and nursery placements.
With parental permission information is received from and shared with other relevant professionals and services.
