  • improve your English and Maths skills?

If the answer is 'yes' to any of these questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

We offer support for English and Maths and work with learners from beginners to those working at Level 2 (GCSE level). We use a range of teaching methods, including IT, where approriate.

We offer specialist tuition for:

  • students with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia)
  • small groups of students with learning difficulties.

We are based at Heaton and West Gate college and also work in a number of community venues and with employers in the workplace.

All English and Maths courses are free of charge to the learner, and lead to nationally recognised qualifications.

Volunteer tutors are particularly welcome to apply. All our volunteers must be CRB checked and are expected to work towards a Certificate in Adult Learner support.
