What would you
like to do?

Newcastle City Council is building a more enterprising and prosperous City, by helping to create a culture where setting up a business is seen as a positive and achievable goal for everyone.

If you have an idea and the determination to make it happen, the City’s Enterprise Team can offer support and advice to help you along to way.

We encourage people to become entrepreneurs by supporting new businesses to start up and existing businesses to grow.  We work with a wide range of partner organisations to develop and deliver initiatives that we hope will make a real difference to businesses and have a positive impact upon local communities.

Get in touch with us if:

  • You are thinking of setting up a new business (whether as a sole trader, limited company or social enterprise)
  • Need to know about possible funding opportunities
  • Require information and advice on premises
