Sexual health services are provided at New Croft House in Newcastle city centre.

The staff are committed to providing free, confidential and a friendly sexual health service in a new, modern and bright city centre setting.

What services are available?

New Croft offers walk-in and appointment clinics for a wide range of sexual health needs such as sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, contraception clinics, pregnancy testing, emergency contraception, free condoms.

How do I access New Croft

New Croft has a walk-in service for STI screening and appointments for STI screen and contraception clinics. We would advise that you call Newcroft on 0191 229 2999 to discuss what option is best for you.

Walk-in appointments are first come, first serve (so go early) and can get very busy. They are open:

• Monday 8:45am - 12pm
• Wednesday 8:45am - 12pm
• Thursday 8:45am - 12pm
• Friday 8:45am - 12pm

STI screening appointments need to be boked by calling the clinic on 0191 229 2999 and are offered every afternoon with a late night clinic on a Tuesday.

Contraception clinics are also offered every afternoon and again need to be booked by calling the clinic on 0191 229 2999.

How do I find the clinic?

The clinic is really easy to find:

From Mannors Metro Station: Leave the station and turn left towards Newcastle City crossing the footbridge over central motorway. Go down the spiral steps at the end of the bridge where to will see a Premier Inn hotel. At the bottom of the steps turn left and you will see the signs for New Croft - the enterence is around the right hand side of the building.

From Monument: Starting at the monument walk down towards Lloyds bank (passing Gregs on your right hand side). At the road turn left and keep walking, cross at the traffic lights (you will see market Street Police Station on your right hand side across the road) and keep walking down Market Street East. At the next set of lights cross over and you will see the clinic on the other side of the road infront of you.
