Preparation of each DPD will incorporate sustainability appraisal and be subject to Strategic Environmental Assessment. A draft sustainability report covering both will be published at the Preferred Options consultation stage, and the final version will be included in the publication of the final draft. Each Supplementary Planning Document will undergo sustainability appraisal and require a statement of sustainability.
