Road closures are sometimes necessary for road works or special events.  Temporary closures can be in effect for a period of 1 day up to 18 months.  Notices are posted on site and advertised in the local press prior to closure, although exceptions are given to emergency works.

Roads can also be closed for special occasions such as a street party. If you are considering a street party or a similar event please complete the  Envirocall Online Reporting and Tracking Form, giving as much detail as possible or text the word 'Roads' followed by your query to 80800.
