Children and young people should be able to make an informed contribution towards decision making about themselves, their schools and their communities and are seen by adults at the heart of the decision making process. We recognise that children and young people are taking on increasing responsibility.
All children will be valued for their contribution and they will be treated with respect and their opinions listened to and where possible acted upon and where this is not possible an explanation is given as to why.
