Background
The Local Development Framework (or LDF for short) is the way in which the City Council will present its proposals for the use and development of land and for changes to the transportation system. It will replace the Unitary Development Plan (or UDP). If you want to find out about the new system generally, go to Introduction to the LDF, or for an explanation of the transition from the old system, go to the Statutory development plan page.
