‘Same. But different’ is the message at the heart of activities taking place across Newcastle.  ‘Same. But different’ celebrates diversity and encourages us to learn from the past to eliminate prejudice and exclusion.

A range of public events, from exhibitions and talks to film screenings and theatrical events will take place in Newcastle.  Schools and local community groups are taking part in creating thought-provoking art.

We are all the same but different. We need to learn the lessons of the Holocaust to create a society that respects both our differences and our common humanity.
